The main difference between Boutique and Enlighten whitening systems is tooth sensitivity. If your teeth are currently sensitive when drinking cold drinks or brushing your teeth, we advise opting for Enlighten teeth whitening. This system includes a range of desensitizing agents and toothpastes to help you before, during, and after the treatment, ensuring a more comfortable experience throughout.
The results will last according to varying lifestyle factors like diet and smoking. However, our patients commented that results have lasted for twelve months before they have needed to whiten them again. Once you have your custom trays made you simply buy the whitening gel from reception to top up the result. You may only need to use the whitening gel and trays for two-three nights until you’ve achieved the desired result.
1. Call our friendly reception team to book an appointment for consultation/scan. If you’re dentally fit we can scan your teeth the same day and send this to a lab for your custom whitening trays to be made. At this stage if you are opting for Enlighten Whitening then we will issue you with a desensitising serum toothpaste to use everyday, 2 weeks prior to your next appointment.
2. You’ll return to the practice around 2 weeks later to receive the whitening trays and whitening gel. A demo will be given on how to use the product. We’ll take a shade match of the colour of your teeth before whitening so we can monitor the change.
3. We see you for a complimentary review to check you are happy with the results 2-4 weeks later. For our Enlighten patients, you will receive a stain removal whitening serum to help maintain the results.
