New patient examination - Initial Indepth Check Up

Thereafter our normal reduced check up charge applies.

Our initial consult is more extended and in-depth so we can get to know your mouth and yourself. You are not just a set of teeth; we want to look at you and build your trust.

Your dentist would recommend digital x-rays to give us a complete view of your teeth and bone levels. These will be discussed with you and your dentist will explain their findings. X-rays will only be recommended if your dentist feels they are clinically necessary.

We may take digital photos of your teeth and smile to show you what we can see. It’s great to help us treatment plan your case and show you what you may not be able to see. Its becomes part of your dental records that we can always look back onto..

We like to assess the glands and lymph nodes around your neck and lips to check for any abnormalities. A thorough assessment of your teeth’ health, function, and appearance and any existing restorations is essential, but we also like looking at the head and neck. We assess your jaw joints to determine the movements and see if you have any movement issues, such as teeth grinding/clenching during sleep, that could cause headaches and neck pain.
We will discuss your existing diet and lifestyle, including factors such as smoking and alcohol consumption, which can affect the health of your teeth. We will also ask you about your general health and medication, so please ensure all of this is current.
Book a new patient check-up online or fill out the form, and one of the team will contact you.
