Uma decided that she wanted to become a dentist when she realised what a difference a beautiful healthy smile can make to a person. Her approach to dentistry is simply to motivate patients to achieve a high standard of oral health. She is a strong believer in prevention over cure and focuses on minimal dentistry to preserve the natural teeth as long as possible.

Uma is dedicated to continued learning and keeping up to date with current and new concepts in dentistry. She continuously attends seminars and courses so she can offer the highest standard of care to all patients.

After successfully completing her ‘Advanced Operative Aesthetic and Restorative Course’ with the renowned Aspire Dental Academy, she started offering a wider range of treatments that followed her ethos. She is able to offer a wide range of cosmetic and preventive treatment that is predictable and long-lasting. She enjoys working with patients and listening to their desires to help achieve their goals. With smile makeovers, she utilises multiple techniques which can range from teeth straightening to whitening to help create the desired look. She also looks at the face as a whole, considering the patients facial aesthetics, as well as the mouth and how they impact each other. She has been providing facial aesthetic treatment for over 10 years and is able to provide anti-wrinkle treatment and dermal fillers to help rejuvenate her patients.

She particularly enjoys treating nervous patients and working with them at their own pace to achieve a healthy confident smile.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and watching movies. She is a keen cook but an even better diner, as she likes to try different cuisines from all around the world.
